Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 30, 2025

Roamly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you use our website and services.

Quick note on our model

Roamly is built around traveler trust. We do not sell paid boosts in rankings. Business features (like claiming a profile) are separate from traveler recommendations. Learn more on our Neutrality & Trust (Bias Firewall) page.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate core features (e.g., sign-in, security) and to understand usage (analytics). You can control cookies via your browser; disabling some may limit functionality.

5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No system is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords and keep your credentials safe.

6. Advertising, Affiliates & Paid Influence

Roamly is designed to minimize conflicts of interest. We do not sell paid boosts that change traveler recommendations or Top Picks. We do not run third-party behavioral advertising on Roamly. If our approach changes in the future, we will update this policy and our Bias Firewall page before changes take effect.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us for removal.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., security, accounting). We also retain aggregated, non-identifying data for analytics.

10. International Data Transfers

Depending on your location, your data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you by email or with a notice on the site. The “Effective date” above will be updated.
